위에서 설명한 Cloudflare(사이트 제공·방문 통계), Google(광고, 설문지, 글꼴), 카카오(광고)가 각자의 방침에 따라 정보를 처리합니다.

Privacy policy (English)
Daedongyeo Quiz (kgeohistory.app, "the site") is a free quiz with no accounts. We do not directly collect personal information such as your name or phone number. We use the services below for ads, visitor statistics and feedback.
Data stored on your device
Your results, streak and settings (language, place names) are kept in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to our server, and clearing this site's data in your browser deletes them.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify individual visitors. It reports only totals such as page views, referrers, approximate country, and browser and device type.
The visitor count under the era picker (today and total) is counted from a signal each browser sends once a day. It carries no personal information such as your name or IP address, and the site stores only daily totals. To avoid counting you twice on the same day, the date of the last count is kept in your browser's local storage.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, which may process your IP address, browser information and request times for security and delivery. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Advertising and cookies
The site shows ads from Google AdSense and Kakao AdFit, only on the era picker and the results screen.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's My Ad Center (Ads Settings). You can also opt out of some other third-party vendors' cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- How Google uses this information: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Kakao personalized ads can be turned off at Kakao's personalized ads page (in Korean).
Feedback and contact
Feedback and error reports are collected with Google Forms. What you write, the reply email address if you give one, and the question details attached to an error report (question ID, your pin and score) are stored in Google Forms and seen only by the site operator. They are used only to reply and to fix questions, and are deleted within one year after we have dealt with them, or right away if you ask.
Other services
The share buttons open your device's share sheet, X or Facebook; we do not record what you share. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers. We do not sell or give your information to anyone else. The companies above process data under their own policies and may store it outside Korea.
Blocking cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The game still works; if you also block site data, your results will not be saved.
Contact
For questions about your data, or to have your feedback deleted, write to contact@kgeohistory.app. If we change this policy, we will post the changes and the new effective date on this page.
